I have served in the U.S. Navy for four years, and the Michigan National Guard. I have been a union representative for seven years, and worked in management for about six years. Having worked as a labourer, as well as management I have experience in both sides of industry. I have also been an entrepreneur. I have a lifetime of experience in numerous fields of interests, and while most of my learning comes from independent study. I do have some formal education in the area of business management. A lifelong people watcher, and student of human behaviour, my greatest interest is in what makes people do what they do. I have an extensive knowledge of history, both secular and theological, as well, a good understanding of numerous religious beliefs and practices. An avid reader for most of my life, I have acquired much of what I know through the printed word, followed by study and observation of the subject matter. With a passionate love for the outdoors, and the environment, my hobbies include foraging with my family and friends. As well as fishing, camping and all things in nature.
